MySpace has quickly become THE place for online marketers to hangout and make huge money at the same time. While many still deny the fact that social networks are the future of online marketing, the reality is that the best way to sell a product is word of mouth. You can create a profile that would put you in a position of a Mortgage Guru. Write in the profile that you can help out with mortgage problems and whatnot, then make the profile link to your website – and voila, you have yourself a goldmine. Not that you won’t have to do hard work though. But once you build up a steady reputation, people will start coming to your website through your profile or even directly, and these types of loyal customers are usually the ones that click ads and bring revenues. Not to mention that you can sell pretty much anything to them.
Although once you have a steady profile and a bit of friends, the catchy thing is to make people come to your profile. Yes, you can post in classifieds, attend events and post lots of comments on blogs within the social site, but ultimately it all comes down to your Avatar. Remember, an avatar is the first thing people see/hear about you. Make sure it stands out amongst others.
